Maybe my most melodic piece yet. Lots of clean and ambient distortion. Though no solo. And I've finally gone back to a six string after maybe 3 or 4 months of writing. For anyone who's interested the tuning from low to high is: C, G, C, E, G, D or a Cadd9 chord.
Added a melodic riff while recycling some of the older riffs. I also went for a solo. I think the transition is pretty sound but it may need some work.
I added a clean section, a small djenty section and finished with a nice riff. Hope it suffices.
Didn't turn out as well as I hoped to be honest. It had some moments after the start but I completely lost my flow with it. May be one for the rubbish heap.
I've really tried pushing the boat out with this. As songs go this is very built up and not complex (yet). But I'm trying something new so this may be an utter faliure. And just to let you guys know. The tunings on Synth 3 and 4 are fucking weird. Got part bass part guitar tunings so if they do suddenly change or end up doing so later on, that's why.
I think this is one of my best songs yet. Continues the evil feel all the way through. Multiple layers are in near enough each section and its heavy. That's pretty much sums it up.
To keep the ball rolling I added a heavier riff to the song, however the transition may be an issue. I also could think of anything to put over the top of it or continue it having a black spot after writing.
I've gone back to drop G# with this. Its got a more sinister feel than most of my previous songs (Rise from the Ashes beats this so far). I do also think this is far more polished tha n my other songs as well. Don't know where the hell this is going but who cares?
The final song of album 7. A short piece of music really as its only meant to be an outro. I hope it does the required job.
Added my own flare to it really. Some relatively melodic metal with some scale work on 7-Strings that are intune with the rest of the song. The transition however may need some work.
