Made this in 3 sessions over 2 weeks. I stopped working on it because I wasn't in the "music" mood, and when I am not the quality is not there (not that there was a whole lot to begin with). However, I recently felt like finishing it.
No gimmicks or tricks, just 5 hours of boredom from being sick :(. This sounded a lot happy than I intended, but I think it fits nicely.
After listening to bar 75 I named it after a large 25 foot ancient shark. IMO a suiting name for a blues turned metal story (if you can't tell my solos suck :0).
Spending the day listening to Beethoven, Bach, and John Petrucci, I must confess the urge to compose something, even as mediocer as this.
Defininetly the best thing i've made so far (not exactly earthbreaking by any means). It's one of my few songs where I liked the solo (even though it was a little short). I enjoyed almost all of it except my transitions which are like bricks being thrown at a glass window.
Spent 10 minutes on this. I think with some refinement it could be pretty cool. Edit: Added an intro and improved some parts. Can't show them here.
Always room for improvement. Mosy obvious being correctly translating what I play into tableture so it doesn't sound so emotionless. Messed around with Phrygian dominant. Most of it feels meh to me, but I enjoyed the ending around 40-43
Not sure what to say about this. The transitions are for the most part, nonexistant, and the entire flow is off, yet I enjoy it still..
