Composed in inspiration to Terry Riley's music
something i came up with a couple of hours ago on piano, im thinking epic orchestral piece with this eventually, lemmie know what you think of it :)
A song I wrote for my girlfriend. (It sounds better when I play it on a real piano)
My newest piano song with a slow start, but suddenly branches off to what I perceive to be as a piano punk rock opera. The beginning is slow moving so please bear with me for 2 minutes. The total song length is over 6 minutes which is one of my longer ones. There's plenty of lead with predictable chord progressions and a solo at the end. The transition from the slow to the fast part isn't the best transition in my opinion, but everything else I hope everyone enjoys. Some of you who have been composing songs as long as I have may remember my first piano song I wrote on the site. The structure was repetitive, the lead was crappy, and the drums were too horribly complicated, so I revisited this one and tried to salvage what I could and I renamed it. (It used to be "Getting out of Hell") This will probably be my last revisit on an older song as I have worked on all the others that needed major changes. From here on out I'll try to write new material soon.
My second jazz song with some cool dissonant chords. Kind of cliche, but it reminds me of a couple parting ways the other leaving by train or at the airport, not knowing if they'll see each other again, but hope the other returns soon.
