Hey guys I came up with the basic bass riff a couple weeks ago with a friend and I turned it into an intense funk song. The sytle is Red Hot Chilli Peppers inspired and FULL of alto sax and distortion lead; it took about two days to write everything. It's about a super hot girl walking down the street and all the guys turn their head toward her in slow motion and their jaws drop haha. I think this is one of my best songs I've ever written, so please listen and let me know if you like it. Here's a link to the song on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wau6TA3uLno&feature=youtu.be
Hey blackspider I had some time today, so I added a lot of lead including an added breakdown before the last chorus. I did minor tweaking with the drums, added some light strings and I added a pretty cool bass part at the end. I hope you like it:)
Ok I did quite a bit here. Hope it sounds good. I added a bunch of parts at the end including a solo of my own. Mania, I changed my piano/string parts during your breakdown so it followed your progression more smoothly during your solo, again great job with that part. I think this is just about done; mania feel free to do some touchups if a part needs it. Let me know if this is the final product or not and let me know if you have any name ideas other than my own. Again, thanks Mania for collaberating:)
Added a melodic riff while recycling some of the older riffs. I also went for a solo. I think the transition is pretty sound but it may need some work.
I added a clean section, a small djenty section and finished with a nice riff. Hope it suffices.
I decided to add some riffs and some strings with added parts and such. It could use some work, but hopefully you like it Re. Feel free to add more to keep this going.
A song I wrote for my girlfriend. (It sounds better when I play it on a real piano)
Ahhhh. Finally finished:) Capped in over 6 and a half minutes long. Mania, your melodic addition worked brilliantly. I modified your drums a bit and added some strings and such along with a transition and it sounds pretty great. Thank you again mania for helping me write this, your heavy writing style has certainly influenced my writing in this song. And Chainsaw thank you very much for writing a modest yet intuitive bridge between parts, it certainly helped the song flow better. I added some other parts after mania's heavy section and topped it off with an intense ending with a crazy solo part. Feel free to let me know if there are certain spots I should fix up, but other than that I think this song is finished! Thanks again you two for helping me and please comment and tell me what you think!
To keep the ball rolling I added a heavier riff to the song, however the transition may be an issue. I also could think of anything to put over the top of it or continue it having a black spot after writing.
