I've been meaning to write this in Tux for quite some time now, but never got around to it. A while back my best friend got fucked over bad by this one girl and he wrote lyrics about it months ago. He gave me a copy of his lyrics (I can post it on Facebook if anyone's interested) (they're unfinished) and I took it and wrote a whole song around it including a decent vocal line. It's a breakup song, but I tried to make it beaty and sound uplifting (which is ironic none-the-less) Anyways, here's the song. Comment and critique as always:p
This is a song I wrote because I had a headache. It actually turned out very good, considering I only wrote it to take my mind off the headache. Good enough for me to upload here, anyway, so go ahead and take a listen.
Another of my favorite acoustic songs that I wrote with lyrics included. (Once again, check them out.) It has a nice little solo during the bridge (although that's not really a solo it's more for effect) and a solo at the end. (That actually is a solo.)
Four chords that I used over and over. I expanded on it, and so far it is my new favorite song.
I wrote this song just to write it, and that's where the name of the song comes from. it's not one of my better pieces, but it definitely isn't my worst (because i delete my super terrible peices.)
I was messing around with the d chord and i ended up with this song. I think the bass is what makes it interesting.
I did what dub guitar said i should do, which was probably a good idea, as this song is repetitive. i added another guitar to help add more to the song.
Another depressing song, this time in standard tuning. mostly just a 3 minute (give or take a minute or two) solo. The chorus is actually pretty upbeat however.
This song is one of two of my more depressing sounding songs. It was written in a tuning inspired by Creed, and a chord progression inspired by Stone Temple Pilots.
