Same song as war, but all of the high notes are down an octave or two, thank you all who gave me constructive criticism and I hope to receive more!
So I've been thinking, why do we tend to abide by the rules of key signature? I like the idea that each note is determined sharp or flat, it gives music order but why does it have to be WWHWWWH? I've been experimenting with this and I made a scale that goes D, Eb, F#, G, G#, A, B, C, D and i would like to know what you guys think of this lick. Just an arpeggio but it's the concept that matters.
My attempt at making Train's song "Hey Soul Sister" on TuxGuitar. Please comment and rate so I know how I did... I just used the Nylon String Guitar for the ukulele because there is no ukulele instrument. I also just used the Clavinet Instrument for the vocal part. I don't know if I got all the instruments the same as Train used, but I think I got close. If you want to see some other songs from our band, you can go to www.youtube.com/theshingles100. We have up mostly covers of other songs, but there are some we wrote ourselves. Again, please rate and comment - Thanks
I posted this a while back but removed it because no one left any feedback. Please just leave a comment or something cause I think this is really cool. It'd make an awesome album intro.
Probably one of the best songs I've ever written. Very organized and uplifting, while still having that heavy metal aspect. Please comment rate and critique!! `Zzslayr
a simple-ish melody over the rhythm a beginning of a cool solo not finished yet, pls rate and tell me what you think thanks
