Counterpoint is defined as the following: "In music, counterpoint is the relationship between two or more voices that are harmonically interdependent (polyphony), but independent in contour and rhythm. It has been most commonly identified in classical music, developing strongly during the Renaissance and in much of the common practice period, especially in Baroque music." (Wikipedia) 9 measures may not seem like a lot of material, but I had to write the most restrictive form of counterpoint without breaking the 30 plus rules I had to abide by, so it took me a while. This is my first time writing free species so Please comment and tell me if I'll get a good grade on this;)
