A big ten/ten for you sir, this music seem pretty instinctive and natural. And it sounds totally good.
nice improvement with the lead; I would just raise the volume because it should be a prominent feature of the song. The rest of the song seems natural like what Re said. I would not classify this as metal. This definitely your moderate rock song. Maybe rock/classic rock.
