ya I'll say. BIG improvement, it gives this song more life, and it sounds less and less generic which I assume might have been your worry at the beginning

a couple things
1) the solo should def be less shreddy. It is a very melodic song and the solo should reflect that. just keep playing with it.
2) the key change I like but this would prob sound better in a higher key. since the chorus is more on the happier side I'd say raise the key up 4 half steps instead of 2.

There's no word strong enough to describe my admiration. What as lead guitarist you are! Felicitation! It's a masterpiece Mania.

Also, it could be cool if you'd use the snare synchronised with the bassdrum as a variant in some riffs. (machinegunlike beat)
