I wasn't keen on the intro either. Very good other than that though. And again dude. at the 5/8, 1/4, 5/8, 2/4 part. Thatjust a 4/4 section. I can't really see how making it all complicated like that would make it easier either. It really should be transcribed in 4/4.

And the section after that is in 7/8.

Haha yeah they can me a tricky thing to get a hang of. The way I got to grips with them was just experimentin on Tuxguitar. And listening to a lot of Progressive rock and metal to get a good feel for them. Animals as Leaders, Dream theater, Cynic, Obscura, Blotted Science. Stuff like that.

I think ik how to make the intro better. You know the song "In Waves" by Trivium? Well on the album the track before it "Capsizing the Sea" is an informal intro for it and basically what they do is summarize the entire song in one minute by playing all the riffs together in harmony and then going into the heavy intro. Try something like that.

I can dig it a bit but as everyone says your transcription could use a bit of workshopping.
