Its finally finished and I think this song has my best solos on it so far. The song itself does get better towards the end. But I'll let you decide on that.

it definitely gets better towards the end and this is one of your better leads. But, I think you can do better with the lead. You solo in a very lineal way, meaning you tend to scale up and down. This is extremely common because it's easy. Some good techniques that will make your solos better are arpeggios, string skips, dive bombs, and those unitonal bends that I love so much :)
Meh, it was okay. but i like to hear more variety. The chord progressions sound a lot like old Linkin Park. The solo was alright, but other than that, just meh.
funny. The one solo I don't use as many unitonal bends and you say you like them in solos.
what I can say though is I did manage to pull the song back from the average heap, i think.
oh you did. and lolz ik! it's just you gotta mix them in key spots and have them shine. that's their main purpose, to have a note be showcased as a key player and then shred around them. but the other stuff; arpeggios (these WILL help you), string skips, dive bombs, all good things to think about. I do a lot of dive bombs and arpeggios in my improv solos because while dive bombs suck on gpro they work well in real life.
Another good bit of advice mate thanks
